Jaiva vidyalayam is a horticultural therapy based project implemented among addicted adolescent school students. It is an interventional programme, from Thrissur district. The project mainly intended to divert the usage of drugs and substances that are destroying themselves as well as society. AURA has collaborated with the department of agriculture minster of Kerala, Adv. Sunil Kumar. In this intervention, several drugs – addicted students were selected from school. The project has acted as a therapeutic method and helped the students to channelize their higher energy for some good causes in their school and community. As a result, they could develop a sense of inner peace and positive emotions thereby enhancing their quality of life.
