Adolescent Girls Education and Empowerment Programme (AGEP), was started in the year 2017at Thrissur in four schools. This programme intended to provide education as well as awareness creation among adolescent girls. Educate the teachers and parents about the need of guiding the adolescent girls at the time of their physical and psychological changes, take adequate intervention for the adolescent girls during their necessary situation, Ensure advocacy services for the needy children and their parents, and arrange rehabilitation facilities for adolescent girls to overcome their problems. Different programmes were organized, in order to achieve those objectives. Awareness Programmes, Weekly Follow-up Meetings, Three- day residential camps, Orientation for teachers and parents, individual counselling, referral services, etc.
