In collaboration with the Excise Department of Kerala’s VIMUKTHI Mission - AURA led various awareness camps for primary-level students (6 to 12 years old). AURA adopted a comprehensive approach to advocate and provide awareness against various societal issues. AURA reached out to 1509 students from 10 schools in the Thrissur district to demystify societal issues such as drug and social media addiction, sexual abuse, and health while trying to equip them with better attention, sensitivity, and responsibility.

 1.Awareness campaign

Every year AURA conducts Awareness campaign based on school level on various socially relevant topics. The purpose of the campaign is to impart knowledge regarding various challenges faced by the students and the ways of dealing with these problems.

Modes of awareness campaign:

•        Orientation sessions
•        Workshops
•        Rallies
•        Observation of Socially relevant days
•        Competitions 

 2.Counselling  

AURA offers counselling services for students and their parents. Counselling provides everyone an opportunity to heal from their problems. The effective use of different therapies helps the client to cope with their uncomfortable situations.

 3. Parents Training   

AURA organizing training sessions for parents aimed at addressing family issues, raising awareness about effective parenting practices, and assisting parents in identifying the root causes of various challenges. The sessions provide effective solutions to overcome these issues, empowering parents to navigate their roles more confidently and effectively.
